After 5.5 hours in the trusty Volvo, I finally made it to the beach on Wednesday afternoon. It was great to meet up with the family for a couple days. Thanksgiving dinner was one of the best in recent memory, and I’m sure I ate my body weight in stuffing.

Monday morning update:
Chugging coffee while attempting to study for a test, prep for a film shoot tonight, prepare for a meeting with a professor, read for class, and then I’ll be running on campus in 2 hours to take photos and video for another project. How I love the two days before Thanksgiving break!

disc golf: Hurricane Shoals
We played 27 holes of disc golf this morning at Hurricane Shoals. Despite huge, straight drives at the intramural fields last weekend, most of today was spent attempting to hack apart avoid the countless trees filling the fairways. Horribly designed, though the wind didn’t help any part of our game.

Hooked on disc golf
We’ve continued playing disc golf obsessively, and have even taken to scouring the Internet for tips and tutorials. Last Saturday we ended up playing 47 holes of disc golf out at Sandy Creek, and we’re looking forward to checking out another course just outside of the city.
